On Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th August 2010 we attended the annual Punch & Judy Puppet Festival on Southend Pier. 6 of the countries leading Punch & Judy men entertained the holiday makers with various Punch & Judy Shows throughout the weekend.

This Festival has been running for 25 consecutive years and this was the seventh year running Chris Cullen has attended. This is probably the most unusual venue he attends with the audience travelling over a mile by train to the end of the pier to watch the shows.

The passengers are greeted by Julie on her stilts at the station.
